Visited for a meal- Lovely atmosphere, warm inside and very welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much to ask for. And a plus it’s dog friendly! Hands down the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had. Puddings were also delicious, Will definitely be returning!

We booked a night at the last minute driving to norfolk! It was a lovely stay!! The accommodation was very lovely and clean with a comfy bed. The restaurant was accommodating with a later arrival for dinner and I had a truly delicious vegetarian option!! Staff were friendly and would have stayed longer but they were booked up. Would definitely recommend!

We found this gem by luck and what a find!! Stayed the night and ate in the evening plus breakfast that was in with the overnight stay. First impressions are key and the front of house gentleman was exceptional. At first glance of the menu you get a good vibe, and the meal in the evening proved me right the chefs here know what they're doing. Please be aware this is Norfolk and good food takes time so be patient and you'll be rewarded plus they're a busy pub the room was large, spacious, very comfortable and very clean. This place is a must go to but book so you don't miss out. We're going to go out of our way to revisit asap. Thank you to all the team

We recently moved to the area and decided to use our local Pub/Restaurant to celebrate a birthday. On entry we happened to mention the reason for our visit and after a quick id check to confirm the birth date, we were presented with a bottle of prosecco The staff were very nice and looked after us throughout our time in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the was a pleasant atmosphere. It's our local and we'll be back, especially for the next birthday

My husband and I stayed for two nights and dined here both evenings. We very much enjoyed all of the dishes that we tried - starters, mains and desserts. The jalfrezi fish curry was the best that I have eaten outside of an Indian restaurant. Also, the breakfast menu didn't disappoint. The full-english was good, but the dropped scones with bacon, poached eggs and maple syrup was lip-smackingly good. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Even on a very busy curry night we had the same level service as on a quiet Monday. I was also pleased to find a good variety of gins on offer at the bar. Our room was clean and comfortable, and a good size, with ensuite bath and shower. We shall certainly stay again when visiting the area, and thoroughly recommend dining and/or staying here.

Arrived on Friday to meet friends for a weekend break. We were welcomed by George and Ellie (aka Kelly) who looked after our group really well. We went back for Mother’s Day lunch. Beautiful food, wonderful service.

It is a lovely pub, with friendly staff and nice decor. We had chunky chips with cheese and a cold pint in their beautiful outside space. Will definitely be back again!
